Remote translation.

Bilingua also provides translation services remotely (online), whether you are in Zagreb, elsewhere in Croatia or abroad: you send your enquiry and documents by e-mail or through the form, receive written translations by e-mail, and we also organise simultaneous interpreting online (RSI). A certified translation is a physical document, collected in person or as agreed.

Since 1994 Bilingua has translated for clients across Croatia and abroad, and the whole arrangement, from enquiry and quote to delivery, is handled remotely by e-mail or phone. See also written translations, simultaneous interpreting and certified translations.

remote

What we do remotely.

Written translations. You send the text by e-mail or through the form and receive the translation by e-mail in the agreed format, for more than 25 European languages. The same applies to localisation and proofreading.

Remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI). For virtual and hybrid events on platforms with interpretation channels, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

We align the platform, languages and technical format with you in advance, and interpreters work in pairs as they do in a booth. More under simultaneous interpreting.

Consecutive interpreting online. Business meetings, negotiations and interviews by video call, with consecutive interpreting.

Enquiry, quote and arrangement. Everything is confirmed by e-mail or phone, wherever you are.

certified translations

A certified translation is a physical document.

A certified translation by a court interpreter carries a seal, a signature and binding, so it is not delivered online.

The enquiry, the scan of the document, the quote and the arrangement are handled remotely, and you collect the finished document in person or as agreed. The procedure is described under certified translations.

steps

How a remote job proceeds.

1. Enquiry. You send the text or a legible scan by e-mail or through the form.

2. Quote. We confirm the deadline and price by e-mail after reviewing the material.

3. Translation. A translator and a proofreader work on the material, and for confidential documents we sign a non-disclosure agreement.

4. Delivery. You receive the translation by e-mail, and collect a certified translation in person or as agreed.

A certified translation is a physical document with the seal and signature of the court interpreter, so you collect it in person or as agreed.
Remote translation means the translator and the client do not need to be in the same place: written translations, proofreading and localisation are done on the files you send, and interpreting takes place on video-conferencing platforms. Simultaneous interpreting over a platform is known as remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI).
Yes. We organise remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI) for virtual and hybrid events on platforms that support interpretation channels, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. We align the platform, languages and technical format with you in advance, and the interpreters work in pairs, as they do in a booth.
All the languages we offer, more than 25 European languages, because a written translation done remotely does not depend on where the translator is. English and German are translated by our own permanent court interpreter, and for other languages we work with a network of experienced translators and court interpreters.
