Written translations.
Bilingua is a translation office serving Zagreb and all of Croatia, Croatia, providing written Croatian–English and English–Croatian translations since 1994, alongside 25+ other European languages.
Every translation is produced by a specialist translator and checked by a proofreader — for legal, business, technical and medical texts.
A written translation is not just about transferring words, but about precisely conveying the meaning, tone and context from one language into another. Every translation we deliver passes through the hands of a specialist translator and a proofreader, so that the terminology remains consistent.
Translations are most often legal, medical, technical and business in nature, where precision, terminology and context are particularly important. We analyse every project according to its source, subject area and intended use.
A translation can be uncertified, for internal and business use, or certified, with the stamp and signature of a court interpreter for official documents.
The translation price includes proofreading, stylistic editing and a check of completeness and consistency. The delivery format is agreed depending on the source you provide.
Written translations with proofreading.
Every written translation must preserve the meaning, tone and intended use of the original. That is why, before delivery, we view specialist, legal and business translations as documents that someone will sign, publish, submit to an institution or send to a business partner.
We preserve the sense, tone and context of the original, not just the literal word order.
We translate specialist terms consistently throughout the document, especially in legal, medical and technical texts.
The text reads naturally in the target language and is adapted to the purpose of the document.
We check headings, tables, notes and every part of the original before final delivery.
Areas in which we lead.
